The final season of Netflix's "OITNB" brings back Maritza Ramos (played by Diane Guerrero). The actress didn't appear on the show during its sixth season. After getting released from jail, Maritza is detained by ICE. She winds up getting deported to Colombia, upsetting a lot of fans.
5. Why Is Maritza Ramos in Prison? On season six, we learn that Maritza Ramos used to work as a waitress in a club. She used to scam customers by putting water in vodka bottles, tripping while delivering the bottle, guilting men into paying for it, then pocketing the cash.
The two of them then work together to try and find a way to be set free. In the process, Maritza tearfully reunites with Flaca because Flaca, Red, Morello, Gloria and Nicky have all been sent to cook for the people imprisoned in the ICE detainment centre, including Maritza and Blanca.

After armed responders forcibly entered the prison, they accidentally shot the sadistic captain of the guards, Desi Piscatella (Brad William Henke), and covered up his death, implicating Taystee. At the end of Season 6, she was convicted of murder. Everything Taystee had previously told Piper was shown to be true.

Lorna was adorable, but had issues with her behavior and mental health. She was sent to prison for mail fraud, a restraining order violation, and attempted murder. Her original sentence was for 34 months.

The letter got to Cindy's home after she had been released early, got a job and made amends with her mother. Following the reveal, Cindy left home, with nowhere to go, she lived on the streets. By the end of the series, she had started down a new path of forgiveness with her mother and daughter.
Poussey Washington was sentenced to six years in prison after she trespassed and was caught in possession of cannabis with the intent to sell the drugs. Poussey was accidentally suffocated by a correctional officer, Baxter Bayley, during a demonstration in the cafeteria that was supposed to be peaceful.
After 13-year-old Eva visits her drug-addicted, drug-dealing older boyfriend, Aleida finds out and drags her out of the boyfriend's house. He intervenes, which causes Aleida to become so angry that she smashes a car which she mistakes for his. She is arrested for this and sent back to prison.
Lorna has one of the more tragic endings on the show. After finding out that her baby son has died from pneumonia, Lorna begins suffering from frequent psychotic episodes. She continues to regress and bonds with Red, but is last seen being sung to sleep by Red as if she were a child.

It's a pretty simple answer. Early on the season, Flaca says Maritza was sent to another prison in Ohio after the riot came to an end at Litchfield prison. If you go back to the season five finale, many of the women were separated and placed on buses going to all different parts of the country.
